Currently, I'm back in Montana for the summer partnering with my church Revival, and starting up a young women's Bible study with my sister. I wasn't sure what I would do after YWAM, but through constant prayer, I heard from the Lord to return to Kona in September and do a program called Leadership Track. This program helps shape students into better Godly leaders and teaches them how to lead with a servant's heart. I am very excited to return to Kona and see what God has in store for me there. Leadership track is three months long, and after completing it, I will be staffing for the next six months. Staffing consists of leading a team of my own to another nation and helping lead new DTS students. During this period of waiting, I have had a lot of time to think about my goals in life, where God is leading me in ministry, but more importantly, how to stay centered around God even when my environment isn't. There's a thing I like to call the 'YWAM bubble', it's not a bad thing, but it's something that happens. When you're surrounded by amazing Christian missionaries 24/7, it can be easy to forget what it's like to live outside this "bubble". So coming back to Bozeman was kind of a culture shock, I don't have many Christian friends in my hometown, but that was something I was determined to change. By starting up the College Women's Bible Study, I was able to make new connections and reform old ones, in my community.
I've also had the great opportunity to work at my old job and reconnect with some of my old coworkers, which has been a great experience!
Overall, I have been eagerly anticipating this next part of my journey with YWAM, but it has been amazing to just listen to the still small voice of God, in the chaos of the "real world". I have enjoyed this time of work and family so much and am looking forward to heading back to Kona to begin leadership track!
