staffing a DTS

"It's hard to know where to begin! A couple of days ago, 270 students showed up in Kona, Hawaii, eager to pursue Jesus and spend the next six months of their lives fully immersed in loving Him with their whole hearts, showcasing the amazing things He can and has done.

So, what does staffing a Discipleship Training School (DTS) even look like?

At its core, we are here to serve the students in any way they need. We live dorm-style with 10 people per room, fostering deep friendships and relationships.  it's like a sitcom with 10 roommates, ages 18 to 37 – imagine 'Friends,' but holier. In addition, we are discipling the girls in our rooms and walking alongside them as they grow with the Lord. This includes meeting with each of them weekly, guiding them through anything they are struggling with, and helping them grow in discipline!

Simultaneously, we are planning an outreach that will span three months (April-June). The outreach part of the DTS is the main purpose; we are helping prepare the students for outreach in the next three months. I know my location, which is super exciting, but because the students don't know yet, I'm not able to release the location quite yet. I'm super excited to lean into the Holy Spirit and trust that God can make a way financially and spiritually for the next six months of discipleship, sharing the love of Jesus with the nations, and learning to serve with a humble heart.

If you want to hear about the location, reach out to me, I'd love you give you the rundown of what's to come!
