lecture phase

The first three months of DTS consist of the 'lecture phase'. I learned so much about God's character, how

to truly read and understand the Bible, and apply the teachings to real-world situations. These three months completely transformed me, and I learned so much about who I am, but more importantly, who God is and how amazing he is. During these three months, I grew a passion for women in red-light districts around the world and those who have suffered at the hands of human traffickers.

I met so many amazing people who are on fire for Jesus and want to see our generation be sent out with radical love for others! I now have friends around the world including from Norway, South Africa, New Zealand, South Korea, Germany and so many more! During our time in Kona, we got to experience amazing worship nights, and speakers from around the world, and get to know God on a personal level. I even got baptized during the last few weeks in Kona!
